Basic settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| 「複数配送先機能を有効にする」 (Enable multiple shipping addresses) | Off by default. While it's off, the cart block doesn't appear and buyers can't split addresses. |
| 「最大配送先数」 (Maximum addresses) | The maximum number of addresses per order. 1 to 50, default 10. On the Free plan, you can't enter a number above 3, and 「現在のプラン(Free)では最大3件」 (Up to 3 on your current plan (Free)) appears. When you save, the value is also adjusted to your plan's limit. |
| 「配送先帳の上限件数」 (Address book limit) | The number of addresses each customer can save in the address book. 1 to 200, default 30. |
Target products
Choose 「すべての商品」 (All products), 「特定のコレクション」 (Specific collections), or 「特定の商品タグ」 (Specific product tags). The default is all products.
- For specific collections, you can choose several in Shopify's picker.
- For specific product tags, you can add several, separated by commas.
- Products that aren't targeted don't appear in the cart block. If the cart has no target products, the block itself doesn't appear.
Handling unassigned items
This is the default. If any item has no address selected, 「ご購入手続きへ」 (Proceed to checkout) can't be clicked and 「配送先が未選択の商品があります」 (Some items have no shipping address selected) appears.
Items with no address selected are assigned to address ①. If the customer's default address is among the addresses for this order, that address takes priority.
Shipping fee
「追加配送先1件あたりの追加送料」 (Extra shipping fee per additional address) is the fee added for each address from the second one on. The amount is in yen, 0 or more, and the default is 800. It's available on all plans. Saving automatically creates the product 「追加配送先の送料」 (Additional address shipping fee) and syncs its price.
Tags and notes on split orders
Tags and notes are generated from templates in the app's settings (they're not copied from the original order). Tags and notes on the original order are not copied to split orders. You can change the tags and notes for split orders in 「分割注文のタグ」 (Split order tags) and 「分割注文のメモ」 (Split order note) on the settings screen.
| Setting | Default | Rules |
|---|---|---|
| 「分割注文のタグ」 (Split order tags) | multi-ship,multi-ship-from-{source_order_name} | Comma-separated, up to 200 characters |
| 「分割注文のメモ」 (Split order note) | 「複数配送先注文 {index}/{total}(元注文 {source_order_name})」 (Multiple-address order {index}/{total} (original order {source_order_name})) | Up to 500 characters |
- {source_order_name}
- The original order's number.
- {index}
- The position of the split order.
- {total}
- The total number of split orders.
- {address_label}
- The address label.
The original order gets the tag multi-ship-source, the split order numbers (such as #2017 and #2018) are added to its notes, and then it's canceled without notifying the buyer. The tag on the original order (multi-ship-source) can't be changed in the app.
Behavior when the Free allowance is exceeded
If you turn on 「Free枠超過時は分割を保留し手動承認制にする」 (Hold splits over the Free allowance for manual approval), splits from the 11th each month on the Free plan become 「保留(手動承認待ち)」 (On hold (awaiting approval)). It's off by default. To run a held split, use 「承認して分割」 (Approve and split) in the split orders list. While a split is on hold, you can still ship the original order as it is.
When this setting is off, splits still run after the free allowance is used up and are subject to usage charges. For details, see "MultiShip pricing plans and per-split usage charges."
Order splitting method
The splitting method is fixed to 「元注文を自動キャンセルし multi-ship-source タグを付ける」 (Automatically cancel the original order and add the multi-ship-source tag). The screen only shows a description, and it can't be changed.
