How customers post a review
- Open the product pageThe customer opens a product page that has the review list block.
- Enter the reviewThey click "Write a review" and enter a rating (1★ to 5★), a title (optional), the review text (10 to 2000 characters) and their display name.
- SubmitThey click "Submit review". Depending on your "Publishing" setting, the review is published right away or waits for approval.
What you can choose in review settings
- Who can post
- Choose "Verified buyers only (matched by order number and email)" or "Anyone can post".
- Publishing
- With "Manual approval (moderation)", no review appears until you approve it on the "Reviews" screen. With "Auto-publish 3★ and above", reviews rated 3★ or higher are published right away, and reviews rated 2★ or lower wait for approval.
- Allow repeat reviews of the same product
- Choose whether the same customer can post more than one review for the same product. If you don't allow it, customers can't post again for a product they have already reviewed.
Notes on "Verified buyers only (matched by order number and email)"
Customers must be logged in and have bought the product
If "Who can post" is set to "Verified buyers only (matched by order number and email)", customers must be logged in to your store and must have bought that product. Customers who are not logged in, or who have not bought that product, see a message instead of the review form.
Reviews from customers who bought the product show a "Verified buyer" badge in your store.

Can customers who are not logged in post reviews?
Set "Who can post" in "Review settings" to "Anyone can post", and customers who are not logged in can post too.
Can I check only low-rated reviews before they are published?
Set "Publishing" to "Auto-publish 3★ and above". Reviews rated 2★ or lower then wait for approval and don't appear until you approve them.
